What exactly is Workout Illustrated?
A sequence of magazine-sized illustrated workouts organized into 3 progressively more challenging "series."
Easy to read and easy to use in a gym.
As your fitness improves, you may choose to challenge yourself with the "Advanced" and eventually the "Expert Series." Many women will be completely satisfied remaining within the Foundation Series. You are in complete control of your progress.

Is Workout Illustrated for everyone?
No, in fact there are many women who would not be happy trying these workouts. They include:
- Women who are easily offended by the frank discussions between the trainer and her client.
- Women who require hands-on instruction.
- Women who already know it all.
- Women who are not willing to put in the mental and physical effort needed to learn a great program.
Why don't I get myself a personal trainer instead of Workout Illustrated?
By all means, get yourself a personal trainer, IF:
You can find yourself a Great personal trainer with accredited certification; mentorship at a TOP gym; at least 10,000 hours of hands-on training with clients of all ages and abilities; who invests significant time and money on world-class education EVERY year; who offers Superior Workout Programs that actually get results, AND:
You can afford the many hundreds or even thousands of dollars that a Great personal trainer will legitimately charge, AND:
You are able to book a time with your trainer that is convenient for you, AND:
You can remember all of the warm-ups and exercises and stretches so that you can do your program yourself if you need to travel, or if you just want to.
A GREAT personal trainer who offers modern, science-based exercise programs is definitely worth considering.

I have a physical issue. Can I benefit from these workouts?
Honestly, we do not know. These workout programs were designed by very experienced personal trainers who have worked with clients of all ages and abilities. However, NO personal trainer can legally provide a specific exercise prescription to "fix" a physical issue, especially an issue that provokes pain. Anyone who tells you differently is lying to your face. We ALWAYS refer out to a health care professional and you should do the same.
Our best advice would be to take our program with you to your physician and/or therapist and have them review the program. You are not going to get strong and lean if you hurt yourself and cannot work-out!
